The Adani Group and Google have unveiled a new partnership aimed at accelerating sustainability efforts and expanding clean energy usage in India.

As part of the collaboration, Adani will provide renewable energy from a solar-wind hybrid project located in Khavda, Gujarat, which is part of the world’s largest renewable energy park. The project is scheduled to commence commercial operations in the third quarter of 2025.

Leveraging its expertise in large-scale renewable energy developments, Adani will offer tailored clean energy solutions to commercial and industrial (C&I) clients, supporting them in lowering their carbon emissions. The initiative aligns with Adani’s broader objective of targeting the merchant and C&I sectors to help decarbonize industries.

For Google, the collaboration is a key step forward in its 24/7 carbon-free energy mission, ensuring its cloud services and operations in India are powered by sustainable energy. As reported by manufacturingtodayindia.com, the partnership underscores both companies’ dedication to promoting sustainability and advancing clean energy solutions in the region.
