Greenzo Energy, producer of alkaline electrolyzers, bagged a green hydrogen project through a competitive bidding process in Tamil Nadu. The project will be executed at the 1,320 megawatt (MW) Ennore SEZ Supercritical Thermal Power Plant (TPP), operated by the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO). Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has been appointed by TANGEDCO as the project engineering management partner.
Greenzo Energy will set up a hydrogen production facility with a capacity of twenty normal cubic meters per hour, marking a significant step toward advancing India’s green hydrogen ambitions. The project is expected to be completed within the designated timeframe.
The electrolyzers will be engineered and manufactured at Greenzo Energy’s plant in Sanand, Gujarat. The project reinforces Greenzo Energy’s position as a prominent player in the green hydrogen space.
As reported by thehindubusinessline.com, the company specializes in developing, owning, and operating renewable and green hydrogen infrastructure to provide zero-emission energy solutions to its customers.
