Grew Energy has been selected to supply 500 MW of photovoltaic (PV) modules for Jindal Renewable’s upcoming solar power project in Rajasthan.

Grew’s research and development centre designs the advanced modules. Engineers design them to deliver outstanding performance. This makes them ideal for commercial and industrial clients.

Jindal Renewable’s Ambitious Renewable Energy Goals

Jindal Renewable Power, a subsidiary of Jindal Steel and Power, has set a goal to develop 12 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030.

This will enable the company to provide round-the-clock (RTC) power to Jindal Steel and Power’s facilities. It will also reduce carbon emissions by approximately seven million tons annually.

By doing so, Jindal aims to significantly decrease its carbon footprint and support its sustainability efforts.

Currently, Jindal Renewable Power is working on nearly three GW of diverse renewable assets, with power off-take agreements fully secured.

Strengthening Sustainability in the Steel Industry

Bharat Saxena, President of Jindal Renewables stated, “The project with Grew is a significant step towards driving sustainability in the steel industry”.

Saxena added, “Collaborating with Grew for low-emission steel production is just the beginning. We look forward to launching many more initiatives like this as we continue to lead in adopting renewable energy solutions”.

Commitment to Innovation and Reliability

Vinay Thadani, CEO and Director of Grew Energy said, “We are excited to collaborate with Jindal Renewables on this impactful project,” he said. “Initiatives like this reinforce our vision to deliver cutting-edge products that our partners can rely on”.
