Gulbrandsen, a global player in specialty polyethylene waxes and polymers, is expanding its manufacturing capabilities in Dahej, India. The company will increase polyethylene wax production and build a new functional polymers plant to enhance supply reliability and meet growing global demand. The new facilities are expected to be operational by mid-2026.
Strengthening Product Portfolio
With this expansion, Gulbrandsen aims to widen its product range in specialty polymers and waxes—key components in essential everyday materials. These include expanded polystyrene (EPS), mold release agents, personal care and cosmetics, adhesives, inks, and coatings.

In addition to the Dahej expansion, Gulbrandsen has completed debottlenecking efforts at its Vadodara wax plant, unlocking additional production capacity.
