Guwahati Refinery, owned by the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), announced that Pradip Kumar Basumatary has taken over as the Chief General Manager and Refinery Head following the retirement of G K Goyari. Basumatary officially took charge on March 1.
Previously, Basumatary served as the Chief General Manager (technical) at Guwahati Refinery. As reported by businessline, with extensive experience in refinery operation and maintenance, project commissioning, and managing fuel quality enhancement projects under the BS-VI regime, Basumatary brings valuable expertise to his new position.
