Hindalco to Establish E-waste Recycling Plant at Dahej

Gujarat based Arete Group sold land to Hindalco Industries Limited (HIL) at PIP (Payal Industrial Park) in Dahej. Hindalco, a flagship company of the Aditya Birla Group, plans to establish a first-of-its-kind e-waste recycling unit in India. The project aims to transform the e-waste landscape by introducing advanced e-waste recycling technology and creating an economically viable circular system.

Strategically located PIP, sprawling across 3,500 acres, offers plug-and-play industrial land and infrastructure tailored to the specific needs of corporates. As per the press release, in addition to providing the requisite industrial land, PIP aims to extend comprehensive support to Hindalco throughout the project’s lifecycle. This includes assistance with plug-n-play infrastructure, and other tailored services to ensure the project’s timely and successful completion.
