Emerson’s Role in Driving Innovation
Emerson will implement a real-time industrial data platform to connect operational technology (OT) with enterprise IT systems. This will integrate data from multiple sources, providing greater visibility and control.
Additionally, Emerson will deploy AspenTech’s multi-unit dynamic optimization solutions to improve margins and sustainability.
As per the press release, the solutions will integrate planning, scheduling, and advanced process control in a closed-loop system. Emerson will also provide its DeltaV™ control system, advanced measurement tools, and electronic marshalling technology to streamline operations.
“Emerson’s Boundless Automation vision – integrating intelligent field, edge, and cloud – will help HMEL achieve higher productivity and operational excellence,” said Anil Bhatia, vice president and managing director of Emerson India.
Bhatia added, “We look forward to supporting HMEL in optimizing production, reliability, safety, and sustainability”.
