Honeywell, an engineering and technology firm, intends to launch specialized products tailored to specific sectors under its Impact brand, targeting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) segment, informed Ashish Modi, President, Honeywell India.
The Impact brand, designed for India’s growing mid-segment, presently encompasses a diverse array of applications spanning building technologies, fire safety, electrical safety, energy management solutions, industrial sensors, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Honeywell is actively introducing several new products under this brand, including Android-based point-of-sale machines, advancements in camera technology, and various software solutions.
Over the past four years, the Impact brand has experienced consistent revenue growth of 30%. Currently, Honeywell has presence in fifty cities, with major revenue-generating markets in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, and Chennai.
Honeywell aims to expand its reach to eighty new locations, particularly targeting tier-two markets such as Ahmedabad, Kochi, Chandigarh, Lucknow, Coimbatore, Indore, Jaipur, Kolkata, and Guwahati over the next two years.
With a network of eighty distributors and a workforce exceeding 100 individuals, Honeywell’s Impact brand emphasizes innovation, research, development, and delivery of quality solutions. As reported by businessline, the company emphasizes its localization strategy, ensuring that solutions are not merely imported, but tailored specifically for the Indian market.
