ICL Signs Fertilizer Deal with AMP Holdings

Israeli specialty minerals company ICL (formerly Israel Chemicals), specializing in minerals, signed a five-year partnership with AMP Holdings Group, a distribution company. The deal, valued at $170 million, is set to last until 2028. The agreement aligns with ICL’s strategy to expand its portfolio of growing solutions products and to position the company for growth in key markets.

As reported by en.globes.co.il, the deal focuses on specialty water-soluble fertilizers, which are commonly used in drip irrigation for cash crops such as apples, watermelons, vegetables, strawberries, ginger, and grapes. It includes a commitment to a minimum purchase, along with exclusivity conditions based on brand and region.

Elad Aharonson, President, ICL Growing Solutions mentioned, “Our soluble fertilizer products are widely recognized as market leaders in China, a critical region for us, and this agreement with AMP Holdings will enhance ICL’s standing in China’s premium specialty fertilizer market”.
