India and UAE Sign Four Key Agreements in Energy Sector Collaboration

India and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) signed four key agreements aimed at strengthening their energy collaboration.

Among these agreements are a long-term LNG supply contract between Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) and Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL), and another agreement between ADNOC and India Strategic Petroleum Reserve Ltd (ISPRL).

Additionally, the Emirates Nuclear Energy Company (ENEC) and Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the operation and maintenance of the Barakah nuclear power plant, as reported by the ministry of external affairs (MEA).

As reported by ETEnergyworld.com, the fourth agreement involves a production concession for Abu Dhabi’s onshore block-one, signed between Urja Bharat and ADNOC.
