India has been designated as the exclusive partner for the European Hydrogen Week, which is set to take place in November 2024, as informed by the ministry of new and renewable energy.
The declaration was made during the International Conference on Green Hydrogen (ICGH-2024) held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
The conference highlighted India’s dedication to aligning with the European Union’s green regulations, aiming to boost export prospects. A key development was the signing of a Letter of Intent (LoI) between the Netherlands’ Chane Terminal and India’s ACME Cleantech for establishing ammonia import terminals.
As reported by devdiscourse.com, the conference featured contributions from the EU, Australia, and the Netherlands, focusing on the green hydrogen sector and discussing the EU’s emission trading system reforms designed to promote hydrogen as a viable alternative to fossil fuels.
