INOXGFL Group Ventures into Solar Manufacturing

The INOXGFL Group has officially entered the solar manufacturing industry through its newly formed entity, Inox Solar.

Inox Solar is a privately-held company owned by the promoters. It aims to establish itself as a significant player in renewable energy manufacturing.

Targeting Major Capacities by 2026

Inox Solar plans to achieve an initial production capacity of 5 GW for solar modules and 2.5 GW for solar cells by 2026.

The company has committed a capital expenditure of ₹1,500 crore to reach these targets.

First Manufacturing Plant in Gujarat

The company will launch its first solar module manufacturing facility in Gujarat, with a capacity of 1.2 GW.

The plant will focus on producing advanced TopCon modules and will become operational by March 2025.

Comprehensive Renewable Energy Solutions

To deliver a complete renewable energy package, Inox Solar will work in conjunction with other INOXGFL group companies:

  • Turnkey EPC Solutions: Inox Renewable Solutions (formerly Resco Global Wind Services) will oversee turnkey engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) services.
  • These services will include land acquisition and power evacuation to streamline project implementation.
  • Post-Commissioning Support: Inox Green Energy Services will provide ongoing operations and maintenance (O&M) support to ensure optimal performance of the commissioned projects.

Expanding into Hybrid and C&I Solutions

Inox Solar aims to complement the group’s wind energy business, Inox Wind. It plans to offer hybrid renewable energy solutions that integrate wind and solar power.

The strategic approach positions the company to cater to the growing demands of the third-party commercial and industrial (C&I) segment.

Projectstoday.com reports that Inox Solar is set to play a pivotal role in advancing India’s renewable energy goals. This is due to its multifaceted strategy.
