Urgent opening with the leading MNC company into Oil & Gas in Kochi for Junior Process System Engineer.
Position Title :Jr process-systems engineer
Principle Responsibilities
Identifying productivity improvement opportunities and targets in production operations.
Conducting process engineering evaluation of production unit operations and facility utilities, screen options, investigating and identifying process bottlenecks and constraints, map system capability and rank solutions with necessary cost-benefit analyses.
Identifying, developing and design improved operating and control strategies to achieve productivity targets.
Developing tracking programs and metrics for plant optimization and efficiency, and monitor the targets against budget/expected performance.
Analyzing plant performance and work with the operations team to ensure the plant operates optimally.
Developing and installing systems that ensure plant operators and line management understand the optimal run-point for each process to achieve efficiency targets
Working with the facility operations staff and line management to identify, communicate and transfer best operating facility practices.
Providing support for the facility process safety activities through implementation of management of change associated with asset management projects, operating plant hazard review revalidation, execution of project hazards reviews, completing OPHR action items
Providing process-engineering consultation and supporting to the sites Production organization, to help troubleshoot and resolve process operating problems. Assisting operations to resolve product quality, reliability and operability issues.
Strong data analytical skills & should be familiar with MS excel
Minimum Requirements And Qualifications
A graduate engineer ( chemical) with 5 years experience as a hands-on process system with experience in refinery, ammonia, methanol, chemical process.
Knowledge of Aspen and other related soft ware will be an added advantage
Good Communication & coordination skills.
Fluent in oral and written English language.
