Investments are underway at facilities located in Obernkirchen, Germany, Vadodara, India, and Dammam, Saudi Arabia, aimed at expanding ITT’s power capacity for testing pump, motor, and control systems. The expansion will enable the company to conduct local testing of larger and more complex pump packages. Anticipated to be finalised by the third quarter of 2024, the investments align with ITT’s commitment to enhancing its capabilities and customer experience, thereby setting it apart from competitors.
ITT’s Goulds pumps sites in Saudi Arabia and India will benefit from the investments, supporting future growth as part of the company’s ‘in region, for region’ strategy. Similarly, at ITT’s Bornemann pumps site in Obernkirchen, Germany, the completion of the investments will facilitate the replication of field conditions through comprehensive multiphase fluid testing of complete units.
As reported by World Pumps, special emphasis will be placed on pump packages deployed in carbon capture and decarbonization applications worldwide. Luca Savi, CEO and President of ITT, highlighted the strategic significance of these investments, emphasizing their role in enhancing capabilities, improving customer experience, and maintaining ITT’s competitive edge in the industry.
