Jakson Green Infinity, the electrolyser manufacturing arm of Jakson Green, has successfully shipped its first batch of 3.8 MW electrolysers.
The electrolysers will power India’s inaugural green hydrogen refuelling station for urban mobility, located in the National Capital Region (NCR).
The milestone marks a significant step forward in India’s transition to green hydrogen as a sustainable energy solution.
A Pivotal Milestone
The achievement demonstrates Jakson Green’s commitment to advancing green hydrogen adoption in India.
The electrolysers, manufactured at the company’s state-of-the-art facility in Greater Noida, will be integral in producing clean hydrogen fuel.
The hydrogen will serve not only vehicles but also various other green applications, contributing to a cleaner environment.
The imported electrolyser stack was combined with balance of plant components, which were designed, engineered, and manufactured locally at the Greater Noida facility.
The strategy strengthens the domestic supply chain, adding significant local value while ensuring optimal system integration and performance.
Advancing Low-Carbon Future
“We are proud to lead India’s green hydrogen revolution,” said Bikesh Ogra, Managing Director and CEO of Jakson Green.
He added, “The project will play a crucial role in India’s low-carbon transition by reducing our dependence on imported crude oil and lowering pollution. Green hydrogen is an essential part of the new energy transition, and we are committed to supporting the growth of hydrogen-fueled vehicles in India.”
Overcoming Challenges
Bhaskar Bose, Head of Manufacturing at Jakson Green Infinity, emphasized the company’s commitment to safety, quality, and innovation in electrolyser production.
He acknowledged the unique challenges in establishing in-house operations for this new technology in India. However, he highlighted how meticulous planning, rigorous testing, and the dedication of their skilled team helped overcome these hurdles.
As a result, Jakson Green has delivered electrolysers that meet the highest industry standards.
Expanding Manufacturing Capacity
Jakson Green Infinity’s advanced manufacturing facility in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, currently has a production capacity of 300 MW.
The capacity is poised to expand further to meet the growing demand for electrolysers in India’s green hydrogen sector.
The company is also exploring new technologies to solidify its leadership in the green hydrogen industry.
As reported by eprmagazine.com, through these efforts, Jakson Green Infinity is positioning itself as a key player in India’s journey toward sustainable, hydrogen-based energy solutions.
