Job description
Study of the existing processes, making PFDs and P&IDs. Process mapping and value stream mapping. Chemical engineering calculations like heat and mass transfer, material andenergy balances of processes. Design of process equipment (heat exchangers, distillation columns, pumps, etc.). Preparation of basic and detail engineering packages. Data collection and statistical analysis. Knowledge of statistical tools and Six Sigma. Should have exposure to batch and continuous operations.
