Kesar Petroproducts Initiates Trial Production at Ratnagiri Facility

Kesar Petroproducts Ltd has commenced trial production at its newly established fertiliser plant in Ratnagiri, Maharashtra.

With an annual capacity of 6,000 tons, the facility will manufacture high-end fertilisers.

The development is expected to significantly enhance the company’s revenue in the coming months. Commercial production is anticipated to start shortly.

The plant’s innovative design allows it to utilize by-products from the company’s pigment plant for fertiliser production.

The integration will boost the pigment manufacturing capacity at the existing facility, ensuring operational efficiency and sustainability.

  • 250 tons per month of Beta Blue

With the new fertiliser plant operational, they expect the production capacity to rise to:

  • 900 tons per month of Copper Phthalocyanine Blue Crude
  • 200 tons per month of Alpha Blue
  • 300 tons per month of Beta Blue

The company’s colourants serve diverse industries, including printing inks, paints and coatings, plastics, paper, ceramics, textiles, glass, food, and cosmetics.
