L&T Minerals & Metals (M&M) business vertical has secured a significant order from Hindalco to establish an 850 KTPA (kilo tonne per annum) greenfield alumina refinery in Odisha. The project involves engineering, procurement, construction, and installation.
L&T and Hindalco share a three-decade partnership. L&T has been crucial in expanding Hindalco’s alumina, aluminum, and copper plants. This new order underscores Hindalco’s confidence in L&T as a trusted EPC partner for its ambitious growth plans.
Eight MTPA Pellet Plant Project for Leading Steel Producer
In addition to the Hindalco contract, M&M recently secured another major order to set up an 8 MTPA (million tonne per annum) pellet plant for a leading Indian steel producer. The project scope covers engineering, manufacturing, supply, construction, and installation in collaboration with reputed technology providers.
