Laxmi Organic Industries board has given the green light to invest ₹710 crore in establishing a manufacturing facility in Dahej, Gujarat. The initial phase of production at this new site will focus on specialized products such as Diketene and Ketene derivatives, as well as essential items like Esters, Anhydrides, and Aldehyde derivatives. As reported by CNBC TV 18, the planned capacity expansion for this facility is set to exceed 1,00,000 tons annually, and it is projected to become operational in approximately three years.
