Lohum Cleantech Collaborates with American Firms to Build Lithium-Ion Battery Processing Facility

Lohum Cleantech collaborates with US based ReElement Technologies and American Metals to build a lithium-ion battery materials processing facility in the United States. The initial agreement entails an investment of $30 million.

The facility, designed to support a capacity of 15.5 GWh, aims to supply materials for over 3,15,000 electric vehicles annually. The facility will produce vital components for the domestic battery supply chain in the US, fostering a sustainable and robust ecosystem.

As reported by devdiscourse.com, initially situated at the Marion Advanced Technology Center in Indiana, the facility plans to expand to additional locations to enhance the lithium battery manufacturing supply chain further.
