Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited’s (RCF) board of directors approved a contract with Larsen & Toubro Limited (L&T) for the construction of a complex fertilizer plant with a capacity of 1,200 MTPD (on a DAP basis) at its Thal facility.
The project will be implemented on a lump-sum turnkey (LSTK) basis, with an estimated cost of around ₹1,000.27 crore, excluding GST. The anticipated timeline for the construction of the plant is twenty-seven months.
As reported by cnbctv18.com, RCF operates fertilizer and chemical manufacturing plants at two sites in Maharashtra – Trombay and Thal – where it produces nitrogenous, phosphatic, and potassic fertilizers, as well as a variety of industrial chemicals.
