Larsen & Toubro’s Heavy Engineering arm has clinched a series of significant orders during the third quarter of FY25, strengthening its position both in the domestic and international markets.
International Market Success
L&T Heavy Engineering division has secured a major order for LNG equipment for a large-scale project in the USA.
The order, one of the largest in the LNG sector, highlights L&T’s leadership in the heavy engineering industry.
The company continues to leverage its advanced manufacturing technology and vast expertise to deliver high-quality LNG equipment to global clients.
Further expanding its international footprint, L&T has also bagged a landmark order for a loop reactor in a Propane Dehydrogenation (PDH) Polypropylene (PP) Plant in Turkey.
The breakthrough order underscores L&T’s technological excellence in the petrochemical sector, reinforcing its reputation for delivering cutting-edge manufacturing solutions.
In addition, the company has secured a prestigious repeat order from a prominent oil and gas customer in Saudi Arabia.
The order is for a Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit (FCCU) revamp project, reaffirming L&T’s status as a trusted partner in the brownfield EPC market.
L&T’s ability to provide innovative solutions for complex revamp projects was a key factor in securing this deal.
Moreover, L&T has also won a critical order from a distinguished client in Kuwait.
This involves the supply of essential components for hydrocracker reactors and high-pressure heat exchangers, further expanding its presence in the Middle East market.
Domestic Market Strengthening
On the domestic front, L&T’s Heavy Engineering division has also made significant strides.
The business secured three major orders for urea reactors.
These include orders from Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation, which is set to install India’s longest urea reactor, Indian Farmers Fertiliser Cooperative Ltd, and Indorama India Private Ltd.
The achievement brings the total number of urea reactor orders secured by L&T in recent years to 17, solidifying its dominance in the critical fertiliser sector.
As per the press release, L&T Heavy Engineering division continues to make impressive strides across both domestic and international markets, securing large-scale and high-profile orders that further enhance its leadership position in the heavy engineering and petrochemical sectors.
