Lummus Technology, a global player in process technologies and energy solutions, has received an award from SHCCIG Yulin Chemical Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the SHCCIG Group.
The award marks the first commercial deployment of Lummus’ superabsorbent polymer (SAP) technology since the company added it to their portfolio in 2023.
Strengthening the Polymer Market Position

Project Scope and Deliverables
Lummus will provide a comprehensive scope of work for the award. This includes the technology license, process design package, technical services, and training.
The project involves the construction of a 40 KTA SAP unit at SHCCIG Yulin Chemical’s complex in Shaanxi Province, China.
