Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) has issued a tender for the establishment of a 1,000 MTPA green hydrogen production unit in Numaligarh, Assam. The deadline for bid submissions is September 13, 2024.
The project will be implemented on a build, own, and operate (BOO) basis. The scope of the tender includes the design, detailed engineering, and construction of all civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation facilities, as well as testing, commissioning, operations, and maintenance of the hydrogen generation unit. Additionally, the successful bidder will be responsible for ensuring an independent supply of biomass.
Bidders are required to submit a security deposit of ₹50 million. According to the tender conditions, bidders must demonstrate an average annual turnover of ₹2 billion in at least one of the past three financial years.
