Ohmium Expands Green Hydrogen Footprint in India

US-based electrolyzer manufacturer Ohmium is ramping up its green hydrogen initiatives in India, focusing on collaborations and project expansions, particularly in the southern states.

The company plans to achieve a global installed capacity of 5 GW by 2030, positioning India as a key hub for green hydrogen and e-fuel production. This strategy aligns with India’s clean energy goals and its growing commitment to sustainable industrial solutions.

Strong Partnerships Drive Growth

Ohmium has already partnered with NTPC and Hero Future Energies to accelerate its expansion. The company expects India to host nearly 40-50% of its total global installations, supplying green hydrogen to markets in Europe, the Middle East, North America, South America, and Australia. These partnerships will help strengthen India’s position in the global green hydrogen economy.

Focus on Refinery and Ammonia Projects

Currently, Ohmium is working on green hydrogen projects for refineries and ammonia plants in India. These projects aim to decarbonize industrial operations and support the transition to clean energy alternatives.

As reported by cleanindiajournal.com, as the demand for sustainable fuel solutions grows, Ohmium continues to drive innovation and expansion in the Indian market.
