Oil India Collaborates with Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore for Green Hydrogen

Oil India Limited (OIL) and The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at exploring opportunities within the realm of green hydrogen, encompassing green ammonia, green methanol, and related derivatives.

The two companies will collaborate on decarbonization initiatives such as carbon dioxide sequestration. Additionally, they will explore potential avenues for decarbonization, clean energy transition, green fuels, renewable energy, and other synergistic opportunities that align with their respective business interests.

As reported by daijiworld.com, the MoU was formalized by Santanu Kumar Saikia, General Manager (Business Development) at OIL, and R. Manikkuttan, Executive Director (Production Co-ordination) at FACT.
