Oriana Power bagged an order worth ₹2.47 billion for the development of a 52 MW
ground mounted solar plant in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, under the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) category.
The project, commissioned by Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), includes a five year operations and maintenance (O&M) agreement, obtaining central transmission utility (CTU) approval, and building transmission lines. BPCL had floated an open tender for th project in June 2024.
In July 2024, Oriana Power had bagged a contract to set up a 40 MWp solar power plant for a cement manufacturer in Rajasthan, under the captive power segment.
As reported by renewablewatch.in, additionally, in August 2023, the company secured an EPC contract to construct a 20 MW ground-mounted solar photovoltaic project for Bharat Coking Coal Limited in Dhanbad, Jharkhand.
