Pashupati Group, manufacturer of sustainable recycled resins, has forged an alliance with Recykal, a managed marketplace dedicated to post-consumer recycled resin (PCR). The partnership will help to bolster the flow of PCR resins to meet the growing demands of various brands and manufacturers. Both the brands aim to drive forward closed-loop production systems, significantly reducing the environmental impact of manufacturing operations.

Pashupati Group crafts sustainable solutions through plastic recycling, including PET and polyolefin. With four recycling facilities and two packaging facilities spread across India, boasting a total processing capacity of 3,00,000 tons, the group prevents millions of plastic bottles from ending up in landfills or water bodies daily. The brand exports sustainable recyclates and other value-added products to more than 25 countries worldwide. Their overarching goal is to become a global leader in recycling and processing plastic waste, offering viable closed-loop solutions.

As reported by FoodTechBiz, the collaboration marks a significant step towards realizing the shared vision of both entities to establish a sustainable circular economy ecosystem with a lasting positive impact on the planet. The expedited material connectivity facilitated by this partnership also aids brands in meeting regulatory obligations, such as PWM regulations mandating the use of consumer-recycled resins in packaging.
