PDIL Invites Bids for Ash Coal to Ammonium Nitrate Plant Setup

Projects & Development India Ltd. (PDIL) issued a call for bids for the construction of a syngas purification plant as part of a high ash coal to ammonium nitrate project in Lakhanpur, located in the Mahanadi Coalfields of Jharsuguda district, Odisha. The project will be executed on a lumpsum turnkey (LSTK) basis.

The LSTK contractor will be responsible for providing the process license, basic and detailed design, procurement, supply, fabrication, route survey, transportation of all equipment and materials to the site, storage, and the construction and erection of all civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation works.

The contractor will handle the assembly and installation, secure all necessary statutory approvals, conduct testing, achieve mechanical completion, and perform pre-commissioning and commissioning.

As reported by Projects Today, the contractor will also undertake the sustained load test run, performance guarantee test run, and manage 120 months of operation and maintenance (O&M) services, along with comprehensive project management and the handover of the syngas purification plant and associated facilities. The deadline for bid submission is August 26, 2024.
