Pernod Ricard India Foundation and IIM Bangalore-NSRCEL Partner to Boost Circular Economy Startups

To bolster its dedication to fostering innovation through incubation, the Pernod Ricard India Foundation (PRIF) has renewed its collaboration with NSRCEL, the incubator at IIM Bangalore, to further support startups and promote entrepreneurship within the circular economy. The partnership, which initiated the Circular Economy Incubator Project in April 2023, has successfully aided nine startups.

PRIF, a non-profit entity wholly owned by Pernod Ricard India Private Limited (PRIPL), has operated across various sectors including water, healthcare, education, environment, and livelihoods. The foundation’s initiatives are closely aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the national indicators and targets set by NITI Aayog’s SDG index.

The project’s cohort features pioneering startups such as Gud Gum, CarbonCraft, Sunbird Straws, Mini Mines, Refillable, Green Banana, Malba Project, Angirus, and Revy Environmental. These ventures are at the forefront of sustainable business practices and circular economy solutions, addressing areas like sustainable products and services, tech-enabled comprehensive collection solutions, alternative construction methods, and recycling and waste management.
