PLEXCONNECT 2024, an international plastics exhibition focused on exports, recently concluded with significant business outcomes. Sribash Dasmohapatra, Executive Director of PLEXCONCIL (Plastics Export Promotion Council), informed that the event generated business enquiries totalling approximately $57.5 million.
The exhibition facilitated over 3,200 B2B meetings during its reverse buyer-seller meet, where both buyers and exporters expressed satisfaction with the discussions. On-site transactions amounting to about $5.1 million were successfully finalized.
Organized by PLEXCONCIL, the event attracted participation from over 400 international buyers representing more than 50 countries. State pavilions from Andhra Pradesh and Odisha contributed with over 20 exhibitors, aiming to enhance their export capabilities.
As reported by businessline, Hemant Minocha, Chairman of PLEXCONCIL, emphasized that PLEXCONNECT 2024 signifies a crucial milestone for India’s plastics exporters, particularly MSMEs, in achieving success on the global stage.
