R. G. Rajan, an independent director on several boards and an expert in the fertilizer sector, has bagged the ‘US Awasthi IFFCO Award for Lifetime Achievement in the field of Development of the Fertilizer Industry’ for 2023. The honour was bestowed by the Fertilizer Association of India (FAI), a body representing all fertilizer companies in India.
Rajan’s distinguished career is highlighted by his tenure as Chairman and Managing Director of Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers (RCF), as well as his roles as Chairman of both the FAI and the Standing Conference of Public Sector Enterprises (SCOPE).
Rajan is a prolific author, known for his acclaimed book ‘Life Lessons For Managers’. He is also a regular contributor to various national magazines and newspapers, where he shares his insights on management issues in a monthly column.
