The Rajasthan government has begun the process of identifying land to develop the Dausa-Bandikui mega industrial and logistics hub.
The ambitious project will span 3,000 hectares and will be implemented in phases, incorporating industrial zones and logistics parks.
Aligning with National Goals
The initiative supports the Central government’s vision of establishing 20 mega industrial parks across the country.
Rajasthan already plays a significant role in this plan, hosting two major investment regions: Khuskhera-Bhiwadi-Neemrana (KBN) and Marwar-Pali-Jodhpur (MPJ).
The Dausa-Bandikui project, however, marks a significant milestone as Rajasthan’s first greenfield mega park. Moreover, it sets a new benchmark for large-scale infrastructure development in the region.
Accelerating Industrial Development
With Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) worth ₹35 lakh crore already signed, the state is intensifying efforts to acquire land for industrial expansion.
Officials recently inspected sites in Manda, Phulera, and Bichoon, focusing on areas near the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor.
The team is evaluating the locations for their potential to house logistics parks and industrial zones.
Strategic Land Allocation
As part of the extensive plan, Rajasthan government plans to allocate 200-250 hectares for industrial and logistics infrastructure.
The initiative aims to strengthen Rajasthan’s position as a hub for large-scale manufacturing and logistics, paving the way for economic growth and job creation in the region.
As reported by manufacturingtodayindia.com, by integrating advanced logistics and industrial facilities, Rajasthan aims to set a benchmark for sustainable and efficient industrial development.
