Rayzon Solar bagged contract from Larsen & Toubro (L&T) to supply a total of 216 MW of photovoltaic (PV) modules. The modules will be used in L&T’s floating solar projects located in Panchet (Jharkhand) and Ramagundam (Telangana), as well as in a ground-mounted PV project in Bihar.
The modules provided by Rayzon Solar will be monocrystalline bifacial (glass-to-glass) units with a capacity of 550 Wp.
Rayzon Solar has a manufacturing capacity of four GW for PV modules and plans to increase this by an additional three GW by December.
Another expansion of five GW is scheduled for completion by September 2025, bringing the total cumulative capacity to 12 GW per year. As reported by pv-magazine-india.com, additionally, the company aims to establish a 1.2 GW cell production line by the end of 2025.
