Refex Renewables & Infrastructure Ltd. (RRIL) Enters Wind Energy Sector wind energy sector as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for wind turbine generators (wind electric converters) and related components.
RRIL enters wind energy sector with Winvision Enterprises (Winvision) and designated Refex Green (RGEL), a subsidiary of RRIL, as the joint venture entity.
RGEL will oversee the manufacturing and assembly of essential components for wind turbine generators, including nacelle assemblies with drive trains, hub assemblies, rotor blades, tubular towers, and control equipment. RGEL will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of these wind turbine systems.
As reported by projectstoday.com, both RRIL and Winvision will invest a total of ₹139 crore into RGEL, disbursed in one or more phases. RRIL will hold a majority share of 75.5%, while Winvision will have a 24.5% equity stake in the joint venture.
