Rusan Pharma Ltd., a global player in pharmaceutical innovation, announced that its Chairman, Dr. Navin Saxena, has received two of Russia’s prestigious honours – the ‘Order of Friendship’ from the Russian Federation and the ‘Memorial Medal’ from Moscow’s People’s Friendship University.
The awards celebrate his outstanding contributions to science, medicine, and pharmaceutical innovation, as well as his dedication to cross-cultural collaboration over the past 40 years.
Honoured at People’s Friendship University’s 65th Anniversary
During the 65th anniversary celebrations of Moscow’s People’s Friendship University,
Dr. Saxena received the ‘Memorial Medal’ in honour of the late Rector Prof. Stanis.
The award recognizes his pioneering work in chemistry and medicine and his commitment to promoting sportsmanship and holistic well-being. Prof. Stanis, known for championing the ethos of “Be Beautiful People,” inspired generations, and Dr. Saxena’s work reflects those values.
Order of Friendship Conferred at the Kremlin
In a historic ceremony at the Kremlin, Russia’s Minister of Science and Higher Education, on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, awarded Dr. Saxena the ‘Order of Friendship’ – Russia’s prestigious civilian honour.
The distinction acknowledges his relentless efforts to strengthen Indo-Russian relations, promote the Russian language and culture globally, and drive pharmaceutical innovation.
The official decree specifically commended his leadership at Rusan Pharma and his role in fostering strong international ties.
