Sadhana Nitro Chem to Venture into Green Hydrogen

Sadhana Nitro Chem Ltd., a specialty chemicals manufacturer, is venturing into green energy to meet its own consumption needs. The company has laid out plans to establish a green hydrogen facility, incorporating both a solar plant and a wind farm with a capacity ranging between 15 to 20 MW.

To facilitate this initiative, the company is planning to acquire a 126-acre plot for the development of a solar power facility and a wind energy installation. By harnessing energy from these sustainable sources, Sadhana Nitro Chem aims to generate electricity to be used in the production of green hydrogen through water electrolysis. As reported by Business Today, the strategic move into green energy will not only enhance the company’s sustainability profile, but also offer key advantages through backward integration, ensuring control over its energy supply.
