Schneider Electric Planning India Expansion

Schneider Electric, an automation provider, announced plans to invest ₹3,200 crore in expanding its industrial presence in India by 2026. The expansion aims to increase its manufacturing capacity by over one million square feet while focusing on improving customer support, advancing energy transition, and promoting electrification initiatives. The investment will be distributed across various states including Gujarat, Telangana, Karnataka, West Bengal, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

Aligned with the government’s India for India and India for Global strategy, Schneider Electric aims to enhance its talent pool, strengthen research and development capabilities, and tap into the country’s potential for both local and global markets.

As reported by PROJECTS TODAY, Schneider Electric currently operates 30 manufacturing plants in India under brands such as Schneider Electric, L&T Electrical and Automation, Luminous, and AVEVA. It offers energy management and sustainability solutions across various industry segments.
