Serentica Renewables Planning Major Investments

Serentica Renewables announced investment of up to ₹30,000 crore by the fiscal year 2027 for its projects, which include ongoing developments.

The company, a subsidiary of the Vedanta Group, has set a goal to establish 10 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2027 as part of its broader strategy to reach 17 GW by 2030, primarily targeting the commercial and industrial (C&I) sectors.

As reported by Projects Today, to cater to the specific needs of C&I clients, Serentica is creating customized energy solutions, which involve tailored contracts and bids on government tenders for round-the-clock (RTC), and firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) initiatives. For the fiscal year 2025, the company plans to allocate approximately ₹15,000 crore towards the development of wind and solar RTC hybrid projects.
