The Seventh Annual Pharma Project and Portfolio Management 2024 was held at Fairfield By Marriott in South Goa from January 17th to 19th, 2024. Addressing challenging R&D project issues, the conference offered a comprehensive program to tackle industry pain points and enhance understanding of intellectual property (IP) and portfolio dynamics within the global pharma sector.
The conference set the stage for an exceptional three-day learning experience. A moot court session facilitated by Dr. Bharati Nadkarni from Appropriate IP Services, Dr. Mandar Kodgule from IQGEN-X pharma, and Dr. Anshuman Ambike from Emcure Pharma, added an interesting dimension to the day.
The third and final day emphasised core project management concepts, featuring sessions on strategies, PMP practices, PMBoK, CCPM, and backup plan management by experts like Dr. Laila Fatima from Novartis, Jimmy Kotecha from Biocon Biologics, Kumaran Venugopal from MSN Labs, Prashant Kane from Sun Pharma, and Jayesh Khatri from Ashish Life Sciences. A case study session on solving project management challenges, facilitated by Kartik Shivkumar from Dr. Reddy’s Labs and Amit Sharma from Fresenius Kabi, was also part of the day.
Throughout the conference, partners such as Asana, Altudo, and Ecubix engaged with delegates, presenting innovative solutions to address project and portfolio management challenges in the pharmaceutical industry.
