Specialty chemicals manufacturer Shivtek Spechemi Industries Ltd, a flagship company of the Shiva Group of Industries, has finalized plans for a new manufacturing facility near Hazira, Gujarat. The company expects the state-of-the-art plant to become operational by 2027. The facility will span over 1 million square feet and boost its production capacity to 2,50,000 metric tons per annum (MTPA) by 2027-28.
Strategic Location Enhances Logistics and Connectivity
The Hazira facility benefits from its strategic proximity to key ports, including Hazira, Dahej, Kandla, and Mundra. This location ensures smooth and cost-effective connectivity for both imports and exports. Additionally, its close access to the dedicated freight corridor will enable efficient movement of raw materials and finished goods. Being just 70 kilometers from the company’s Dahej plant further reduces logistics costs, providing a strong advantage for streamlined supply chain operations.
Robust Infrastructure Supports Expansion
Shivtek Spechemi is developing a storage facility with a capacity of 5,000 KL. It is also building a dedicated warehousing area of 1,50,000 square feet to manage export orders and products from the Dahej plant. This infrastructure will enhance operational efficiency and strengthen the company’s export capabilities.
