In a strategic move to expand its market presence and production capabilities, Sadhana Nitro Chem Ltd. (SNCL) secures approval from the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) to acquire Calchem Industries (India) Ltd.
The acquisition, valued at Rs. 9.50 crore, was confirmed on November 8, 2024, and is scheduled for completion by January 27, 2025.
The acquisition aligns with SNCL’s long-term strategy to scale production, streamline operations, and reinforce its market position in Maharashtra.
Operational Synergies
The acquisition includes Calchem’s 14.5-acre production site, located just 250 meters from SNCL’s existing plant in MIDC Roha.
The close proximity is anticipated to significantly boost operational efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
With an installed capacity of 78,000 TPA, Calchem’s facility offers large-scale chemical production capabilities but has remained inactive since its insolvency proceedings.
By bringing this site under its ownership, SNCL aims to maximize resource allocation, integrate operations, and strengthen its overall production network.
