Solex Energy Partners with GMEE SC Solar and ATW for Advanced Manufacturing Line Supply

Solex Energy collaborated with China based companies GMEE SC Solar and ATW to provide advanced manufacturing lines for its 800-MW expansion project. The Surat based company is increasing its solar module manufacturing capacity from the current 700 megawatts (MW) to 1.5 gigawatts (GW) in Tadkeshwar, Gujarat.

Solex has entered into two separate agreements with GMEE SC Solar and Wuxi Tidewinner Industrial International Co Ltd (ATW) to supply advanced manufacturing lines featuring comprehensive automation.

As reported by THEWEEK, the high-speed production lines will be capable of producing high-efficiency N-Type TopCon modules and modules based on Heterojunction Solar Cells (HJT) technology, thus significantly enhancing production capacity.

Chetan Shah, Chairman and Managing Director of Solex Energy Limited, stated, “By incorporating advanced automation and artificial intelligence (AI), we are establishing new benchmarks for quality and efficiency in PV module production. This initiative supports our vision for the fiscal year 2025-26 to expand our production capacity to meet the increasing global demand for high-quality, made-in-India modules”.
