Sunsure Energy Collaborates with REC for Sustainable Energy Projects

Sunsure Energy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with REC for debt financing worth ₹10,000 crore. The agreement will fund the development of three gigawatts (GW) of solar, wind, hybrid, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects.

Shashank Sharma, Chairman and CEO of Sunsure Energy said, “The MoU is just the beginning of what we believe will be a fruitful collaboration. Our shared vision to accelerate India’s transition to clean, self-sustaining energy is incredibly promising, and we’re excited to work alongside REC in this endeavour”.

Sunsure Energy currently plays a key role in supporting the sustainability goals of over seventy industrial clients across sixteen states, including multinational companies like Sandoz, Lupin, KSB Pumps, Inox Air Products, Emcure, Dabur, and Olon API.
