Suven Pharmaceuticals Ltd. appointed Vivek Sharma as Executive Chairman. This follows Vaidheesh Annaswamy’s decision to step down from the Board and assume the position of Vice-Chair of Suven’s Advisory Council.
Vivek Sharma brings a wealth of experience in the Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) sector and leadership, having held prominent positions such as CEO of Piramal Pharma Solutions from 2014 to 2019, Chairman and CEO of Adare Pharma Solutions between 2020 and 2022, CEO of Decision Resources Group from 2019 to 2020, and most recently, CEO of Saama, an AI-powered clinical analytics company, from 2022 to 2024. Sharma was also named ‘Global CEO of the Year’ by the CPhI Pharma Awards in 2015.
As reported by indianpharmapost.com, Sharma will focus on enhancing customer engagement and driving global expansion. Sharma said, “I’m excited to join Suven at such a pivotal moment. Together, we will continue to innovate and collaborate, making a positive impact on patients’ lives”.
