Suzlon Group, provider of renewable energy solutions, bagged an order from NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), the green energy division of NTPC Limited. The contract, which amounts to 1,166 MW, involves the installation of 370 wind turbine generators (WTGs), each with a capacity of 3.15 MW.
As reported by msn.com, the turbines will feature Hybrid Lattice Tubular (HLT) towers and will be deployed across three projects in Gujarat. Two of these projects are managed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, while the third is a joint venture between IndianOil and NTPC Green Energy Pvt. Ltd.

Suzlon Group CEO JP Chalasani added, “Suzlon and NGEL are both key players in their respective fields, and together, we will significantly contribute to India’s energy transition.
