Tanfac Industries commissioned its expanded hydrofluoric acid (HF) manufacturing facility. The expansion project, announced in February 2023, aimed to increase the unit’s production capacity from 14,850 MT to 29,700 MT. The company had planned for the project to be completed within fifteen to eighteen months.
K.Sendhil Naathan, Managing Director, Tanfac Industries stated, “We are pleased to share that the expansion has been completed at an investment of around ₹100 crore. The newly commissioned state-of-the-art HF plant makes Tanfac one of the largest HF producers in India. As previously communicated, a significant portion of the HF produced will be used for the production of high-end specialty fluoride compounds within our group companies. This development positions us for continued growth”.

The company specializes in the production of hydrofluoric acid (HF), aluminium fluoride (ALF), and sulphuric acid. Additionally, it manufactures specialty fluorides for a wide range of customers.
