Vinayak Pai, MD and CEO, Tata Projects, elected as President of the National Council of the Construction Federation of India (CFI) for a two-year term spanning FY25-FY26. The announcement was made alongside the election of Akhil Gupta, Executive Director and CEO of Shapoorji Pallonji & Co. Pvt. Ltd, as Vice President, and Priti Patel, Deputy Director of Patel Engineering Ltd, as treasurer.
The newly constituted national council includes prominent figures from India’s leading infrastructure construction firms. Members are Ajit Bhate, Managing Director, Precast India Infrastructures; Arjun Dhawan, Vice Chairman, Hindustan Construction Company Ltd; Hardik Agrawal, Director, Dineshchandra R Agrawal Infracon; M.V. Satish, Adviser to CMD for Buildings and Member ECOM at L&T Ltd; Nalin Gupta, Managing Director, J Kumar Infraprojects; Krishnam Raju P., Vice President, NCC Ltd; Vimal Kejriwal, Managing Director and CEO, KEC International; and Yogen Lal, CEO, Welspun Enterprises Ltd. Ajit Gulabchand has been unanimously nominated as President Emeritus.
