Thermax Babcock & Wilcox Energy Solutions (TBWES), a fully-owned subsidiary of Thermax, bagged a contract worth ₹513 crore to deliver boilers in Botswana, Southern Africa.
TBWES will provide two 550 TPH circulating fluidised bed combustion (CFBC) boilers over a span of twenty-three months. The project is intended to facilitate the initial phase of a 300 MW power station that the customer is establishing.
As reported by projectstoday.com, TBWES’s responsibilities under the contract include the design, engineering, manufacturing, testing, supply, supervision of erection, pre-commissioning and commissioning, as well as performance testing of the boilers.
