Torrent Power, a utility under the diversified Torrent Group, announced plans to invest ₹64,000 crore in renewable energy projects. During the fourth edition of RE-invest in Gandhinagar, the company presented two pledge letters to the union ministry of new and renewable energy.
Torrent Power aims to achieve 10 GW of installed renewable energy capacity by 2030, with ₹57,000 crore allocated toward the target. The company signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Gujarat government to develop a five GW solar, wind, or hybrid project in Dwarka district.
